Curious George and the Firefighters by iRead With

by

We designed the iRead With shared reading program to foster language development and help preschoolers get ready to learn how to read. With our iRead With animated stories, we encourage a participatory reading experience engaging both child and parent. Parents follow a prompting system that encourages them to start a conversation with the child, by asking questions about the story. Children become actively involved in the narrative and get stimulated in a multi-sensory level. Children can touch Living Words to animate the illustrations. This helps children make the connection between text and image. They can record their voice for the living words and the characters’ dialogue lines. And they can also play with story puppets and create their own animated stories in the Story Theater. This activity develops storytelling and narrative skills, and is also a lot of fun! In this story Curious George and the man with the yellow hat take a trip to the firehouse, and George finds all sorts of new things to explore. When one curious monkey meets a company of unsuspecting firefighters, a big adventure is sure to follow!
